Bellatrixes
M. turned 14 yesterday and we don't meet in person for almost 4. We share this thing of being able to spontaneously play together in any situation since she is 4 years old (that's when I travelled to the Bretagne with my partner to finally meet her, she is his half French niece and "goddaughter". I fell in love with her immediately and put the whole family to build a puppets' theatre in the basement for her birthday). Lately we have been trying to seduce her into reading comics in English and to write us letters in Portuguese, as the mail itself is already part of our relationship since ever... but that's not as easy at a distance as being willing to sing, dance or play by make-believe (apparently we also share a special fondness for obscenely evil characters). It was a great afternoon today playing witches and chatting, even if several hundreds of kilometres away, instead of facing my once again postponed paperwork... it was snowing like in the old days outside - really hard - and we've been cosy playing in our fake furs inside. What a bliss.
Feeding the future is not really procrastinating, is it?
